Vladimir Dimitrov - The Master

Vladimir Dimitrov – The Master (1882–1960) is one of the most famous Bulgarian artists. He is renowned for his bright, colorful style and themes inspired by Bulgarian folk life, nature, and rural life. His paintings often depict women in folk costumes, fields, flowers, and rural scenes, filled with symbolism and harmony between man and nature.

The master is also known for his spiritual ascetic lifestyle – he lived modestly, dedicated to art and the philosophy of inner harmony. He leaves a great legacy in Bulgarian painting and is recognized not only in Bulgaria, but also abroad.
