About Us
The Beginning
Our story began more than 20 years ago with a small shop on Tsar Asen Street in Sofia, founded by my father.
Over time and with the accumulation of experience, I took over the development of the business myself, moving through several locations over the years with one clear goal – to create an ever-improving environment for the works we present.
Working with art has never been an easy path, but it is an exceptional teacher. Our experience, knowledge, and collection have developed together.
ROYAL Gallery
In 2022, driven by the desire to create a space worthy of the works we possess and present, we opened ROYAL Gallery.
In 2026, we took the next important step in our development and moved the gallery to 33 Tsar Asen Street, in one of the beautiful historic buildings in the center of Sofia.
The gallery's new home is housed in a building constructed in 1909, designed by architect Kiril Marichkov. The space underwent an extensive restoration process, during which original architectural elements from the early 20th century were preserved and restored. We believe that the historic character of the building creates a natural environment for the works we present.
In our exhibition, one can see works by Vladimir Dimitrov – the Master, Nikola Tanev, Dimitar Kazakov, Vasil Stoilov, Konstantin Shtarkelov, Boris Denev, Atanas Yaranov, and many other iconic names from the history of Bulgarian art.
We stand behind every painting with our name and the experience we have gained over the years. We work in close cooperation with leading conservators and art historians to guarantee authenticity, quality, and professional care.
Our Approach
We believe that the Bulgarian art market deserves a high standard – of transparency, expertise, and respect for the client.
With us, collectors and connoisseurs can calmly focus on the art itself – we take care of the authenticity, provenance, and professional appraisal of the works.
We are proud that some of the best private collections of Bulgarian art built in recent years have passed through our gallery.
Exhibition Projects
Over the years, we have had the honor of realizing significant exhibition projects.
In 2021, we presented the exhibition "Assen Peikov from Rome," featuring over 50 sculptures by the great Bulgarian master, brought directly from Italy – a project that drew attention back to one of the most successful Bulgarian artists on the international stage.
In 2023, in partnership with the Union of Bulgarian Artists, we presented the exhibition "The Ivan Boyadzhiev Collection – The Discovery" – over 150 works by old Bulgarian masters with exceptional artistic and historical value, returned to Bulgaria after decades of storage in Germany.
My name is Krasimir Radev, and I have been professionally involved in the art trade for more than 10 years.
I started with antiques, then came the paintings, and gradually the realization that this was not a temporary interest, but a path.
Although I have a degree in economics, my interest has always been focused on history, culture, and Bulgarian art. I believe that good collecting is built on knowledge, patience, and trust.
For me, trust is the foundation of every long-term relationship with collectors and connoisseurs. It is built slowly but is maintained through consistency and responsibility.
Behind the development of the gallery is also my wife, Petya Radeva, who develops the FindArt.bg project – a platform dedicated to contemporary Bulgarian art and supporting active Bulgarian artists.
Looking Ahead
We continue to work with the same clear focus on which we built our name – expertise, responsibility, and respect for art.
Our goal remains unchanged: to discover valuable works, preserve the trust of collectors, and contribute to the development of the Bulgarian art market.
