Vasilka Moneva

Vasilka Ivanova Moneva was born on March 14, 1945, in Ruse. She graduated in display design in Sofia and began her creative career in 1967. In 1971, she became a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, and in 1977, she completed a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. She has held numerous solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. She is the recipient of various awards, including the "Ruse" award (2005), "Golden Age" (2012), and awards from biennials in Pleven and "Friends of the Sea."
