Rumen Zhekov

Rumen Zhekov is an established contemporary artist, part of the generation of artists working from the late 1990s to the present. He is a co-founder of the Plovdiv group "Rub", a member of "Disco 95" and the association "Art Today". He works in various genres - painting, drawing, installation and performance.

His creative path began with figurative compositions, but later he moved towards a minimalist style with iconic canvases. His paintings are lyrical and musical, with precisely balanced elements and a strong emotional impact.
