Nadezhda Kuteva
Born in Sofia, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nikolay Pavlovich Institute of Fine Arts in 1971. She received a full scholarship to the Corcoran College in Washington in 1981. She has had over 20 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. She teaches painting at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Sciences "Krustyu Sarafov". In 2022, she presented the exhibition "Heavenly Images". She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the "Zlatyu Boyadzhiev" (1986), the National Prize for Painting "Zahari Zograf" (2021) and other international awards.
