Dimitar Buyukliyski - Michi

He was born on September 7, 1943 in Sofia to the family of the artist Kiril Buyukliyski and Neviana Georgieva. During the period 1957-1962 he studied at the Art High School in Sofia, from 1964 to 1969 he studied painting with Prof. Iliya Petrov at the Nikolay Pavlovich Art School in Sofia. In 1973 he married the artist Maya Buyukliyska, with whom he had two children. Creator of Bulgarian Cubism. His works have been sold many times at Sotheby's auctions in London. He died in 2022 in Sofia.
