Andrei Daniel
Andrey Daniel (1952–2020) is a famous Bulgarian artist who worked in painting, scenography, murals and book design. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in painting (1977), where he later became a professor. He is the son of the director Leon Daniel. He was a corresponding member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
He is a co-founder of the avant-garde art group "The City". He is the author of the book "Things, Places and People" (2011). He has participated in over 100 exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad and over 50 solo exhibitions.
He is the recipient of numerous awards, including "Vladimir Dimitrov - The Master" (2012) and "Zahari Zograf" (posthumously, 2020).
